The Experience Japan Exhibition is now in its seventh year. The event gets bigger each year with more and more people taking part to find out about the growing range of study and work opportunities available in Japan. Experience Japan 2017 will take place at the Royal Society, 6-9 Carlton Terrace, London SW1Y 5AG on Saturday, 18 November, 12:00 – 18:00. Admission is free of charge.

This year, 14 of Japan’s leading universities will be attending to provide information on degree programmes taught entirely in English, as well as on the research opportunities, summer courses and other options open to international students.

Japan has it all. It integrates a perfect balance of East and West, of tradition and modernity, of order and chaos. And now there are more opportunities than ever before to study and work in this unique country.

The increasing number of English-language degree programmes at Japan’s universities offers you the chance to advance your knowledge in this fascinating country, whatever your level of study or Japanese proficiency. A number of leading Japanese universities will be attending the event to provide information on these programmes, as well as on the research opportunities, summer courses and other options open to international students. There will also be a chance to find out about the variety of scholarships and research funding available to enable you to take advantage of these learning opportunities.

The event will introduce other programmes that allow you to experience Japan, such as the Daiwa Scholarships and the Daiwa Scholarships in Japanese Studies and the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme. Experts on working in Japan will also be taking part in the event to provide information on the job market and the opportunities available.

The seminar line-up offers participants the chance to learn about the basics of life in Japan and hear directly from people with experience studying and working there. Guest speakers will also be delivering presentations that provide insight into Japanese language, modern history and popular culture.

So come along and find your way to Japan – the experience of a lifetime awaits!
