Artist-led Gallery Tour: つぐ、つむぐ。- Inherit, Imagine. -

Taihei Soejima

13/14 Cornwall Terrace, Outer Circle (entrance facing Regent's Park), London NW1 4QP

Organised by the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation

Join us for a gallery tour of the duo exhibition, つぐ、つむぐ。- Inherit, Imagine. – , led by one of the artists, Taihei Soejima.

Soejima straddles the apparently conflicting technologies of analogue photography and generative AI, together with painting, to show photography’s function as a recording medium. The concept of authenticity in histories and stories is being undermined by technological developments, and he poses to us the fundamental question of what sort of stories we need for our human existence in the age of the AI boom.

Taihei Soejima will be in the gallery to lead the tour, offering a special opportunity to hear directly from the artist about his work and the exhibition.
