Japan Recovery in Action - Tohoku's MCT | James Clark & Robbie McKain: 21 September 2023

In 2021 the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation awarded a Small Grant to support travel writer James Clark and filmmaker Robbie McKain on a trip to Tōhoku in late 2022.

They are working on a feature documentary about the resilience of the communities affected by the 2011 tsunami.

The documentary follows their journey on the 1,000 kilometre-long Michinoku Coastal Trail connecting Hachinohe in Aomori with Soma in Fukushima.

James and Robbie will appear on the #seeksustainablejapan show on Thursday 21 September 2023:
