Kathleen Reilly wins a British Business Award 2022 - organised by the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan

Daiwa Scholarships alumna Kathleen Reilly was recently nominated for a British Business Award 2022 which she then went on to win on 3 November 2022. Kathleen’s category was “Study UK Alumni of the Year” sponsored by the British Council Japan.

Kathleen Reilly
After graduating from the Royal College of Art in London with a master’s degree in Jewellery and Metalwork, Kathleen moved to Japan in 2019 as a winner of the prestigious Daiwa Scholarship. She spent a year and a half training in Tsubame City, sharing knowledge that fosters a greater understanding of British and Japanese culture. Kathleen wishes to promote how having access to the methods of teaching available in both the UK and Japan can result in innovative and thought-provoking work that encourages new links between these two countries.
