Our programme covers a wide range of events related to Japan, including lectures, seminars, book launches, culinary tastings and exhibitions. The Little Mochi Man is A Thousand Cranes’ new show for children aged 4 -7, their family and friends. It tells the tale of the runaway Mochi Man who escapes from the larder in search of adventure across Japan. The production is on national tour from 28 January to 30 May 2018. Venues include Watermans, Half Moon, artsdepot, the egg, Nuffield, Greenwich Theatre, The Cockpit, Cambridge Junction, The Courtyard, Hereford, Polka Theatre, Stratford Circus, The Civic Barnsley, Little Angel and Salisbury Playhouse.

Butoh Training by Florencia Guerberof: this Butoh Training will take place on the evenings of the 13th and 15th of December. The two three hours sessions will be preceded by a guided warm up starting at 5.45 PM, fifteen minutes prior the start of the Butoh training. Please note that arriving on time for the warm-up is essential. Be prepared for a very intense and physically demanding practice.
