私の大和日英基金の日記 日記の１日 今日は大和日英基金に着く時、会社員に会いました。大和日英基金の建物は美しくて大きいの、建物の中の面白い事を探すことにしました。 それから、会社の大切な手紙は封筒に入れて、大和日英基金について習いました。さらに私の昔の先生は大和日英基金の奨学金を得たことを知りました。 日記の２日 最初に昔の先生にメールを送る前に、大和日英基金の奨学生のために小さい言葉の紙を作りました。コズグローブと言う昔の先生に奨学金の経験について書いてくれるようを頼みました。 それから、昼休みの後で、私が日本に興味があることをポスターに書いて、私のじょうしに見せました。ものすごく嬉しかったです。 日記の３日 今朝、たくさん総務をしたり、日本の歴史を調べたり、私のじょうしを手伝いたりしました。とても楽しくなりました。さらに少しイギリスと日本の関係について読みました。昼餉の時，じょうしと日本センターに行くことになり、和食を買って食べました。本当においしかったです。それから、自分で日本の大使館の東京オリンピック１９６４に関する展覧会を見に行きました。 日記の４日 昨日、私は試験の結果をもらって、とても嬉しかったです。今朝、事務所に来る代わりに大英博物館を訪問しました。日本の美術に興味があるので、とても楽しかったです。それから、電車に乗って、すしのレストランに行って食べることにしました。てんぷらや焼き鳥やすしを食べました。おはしを使うことができなくても、食べ物はおいしかったです。昼餉の後でクロサワと言う映画監督の人生を調べました。彼の特別な映画を研究したかったのですが、時間がありませんでした。 Text by Brody McCarthy, Year 12, Whitgift School
